Tad Ladd West Kentucky Whitetail Bow Hunts

Our  bow hunts are prime time for western Kentucky.

In late October the bucks are typically cruising and even starting to establish dominance. Grunting and rattling are both techniques that are effective this time of year. The bucks seem are very vocal during the October hunt. Mature bucks are on their feet a great deal more during daylight hours as well. We target woods and food sources alike, and as rubs and scrapes start appearing we will hunt those as well. Temperatures are normally in the mid 50s for highs and 30s for lows, making it just an ideal time to be in a tree.

The November hunt offers just about the same conditions as the October hunt. The young bucks eagerness normally has the matures about to their limit by the first week, and typically some chasing has started. The matures are on the move and we we start targeting specific scrapes and rubs now. It is a special and magical time to be in the woods of western Kentucky. The scenery around the lodge is incredible and the hunting is as well. It just doesn't get much better than this for a bow hunter looking for the buck of a lifetime.

Limited spots in order to make your hunt as personable as possible and to keep pressure as minimal as possible. Our facilities are first class, and so is our hunting. We would love to have you.
